   He’s only BORROWED it!

   For heaven’s sake can a kid not get in a bit of extra sliding practice – if that had been a maths book he’d borrowed to get extra algebra in, he would be a hero in the staffroom . . .

   Considering all the work he had to do to get it back to his house AND somehow fit it in his room, I’d say let him keep it.

   Yeah, all the textbooks are still in their original clear plastic shrink wrap! Those never get used for anything except maybe door stops!
