Kids frequently have their own names for their grandparents… usually the result of their trying to say traditional names with a child’s speech patterns. My maternal grandmother was called “Boosh” because my cousin could not pronounce Busia.. a Polish term for Grandmother. On the flip side of the coin, my Son was frequently called “Beezer” because, though he loved bulldozers, that was the closest his little self could come to that term.
