Mark, his name is Mark Hall Patton and he is the administrator of the Clark County museum system. The main Clark County Museum is about 2 miles from my house in Henderson. We have been to that museum, but did not see him there.
Yes, I have been to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. A lot of the stuff you see them buy is still on display and about 1/4 of the shop is devoted entirely to “Pawn Stars” souvenir merchandise. All you ever see on TV is the front 1/3 of the shop and a few close up shots of various items for sale in the other rooms. It is actually a very large building. For a pawn shop, they are very expensive.
David, I’m with you. I hate Windows 8. I, too have a Windows 7 start button emulator, and it makes working with 8 much easier. It still does mysterious things that I can’t figure out, but not as often. And Rita, be very glad that your SIL is loading Windows 7. While it is different than XP, it is still the same basic style and shouldn’t take you too long to figure out. Windows 8, on the other hand is a pain-in-the-butt. You would think that Microsoft would have learned with “Vista” that most people don’t like such sweeping change.
Fellowship luncheon today and I’m looking forward to it. And, oh yes, my foot is much better. Not perfect, but at least I can walk on it.
Good morning, Vagabonds.
