    Morning, Village.
    Have a safe trip, Arye.
Yes, I remember the automats. Never liked them. The food wasn’t worth the money you paid for it.
Got the microwave installed. Got the ceiling fan in the bedroom installed. And we hung Wife’s antique lamp in the living room. I’m taking a week of vacation to do nothing but work at the house. By the way, don’t let anyone tell you those ceiling fans can be installed in 15 minutes.

    Thank you, David.

@FLORCHI, can you please identify the photo I took of the flower bush near my Miami home? The photo is on my Facebook: Arye Barkai.

    .
Auto-mat, the closest I’ve come to one was in a PX on Fort Dix.
More use to the vending machines that have a carousel with sanwitchs and other meals.
    .
    Well.

    Good Morning, Everyone,

Going to the Red Cross in Great Falls today for MMM to donate platelets. We’ll do some history exploring tomorrow. Love all that Lewis and Clark history around here.

Florchi………..when I was 12, I made my one and only visit to NYC. We did eat at the Automat……………….but………….I have no idea about the food. As a kid, I was more interested in how they got the food in there. :))

Arye, have a safe and fun trip home.

    @Montana Lady

When I was a kid, we used to go to the H & H Automat in Philly. Like you, I was more interested in the procedure than the quality of the food. :-))) Funny how these old comics stir some old memories…!

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Safe trip, Arye. See you on the flip side.

David, now you are making me excited about that house of yours. My husband installed a ceiling fan in our first house, and you are right! It is NOT a 15 minute job.

Florchi, I’ve never been to an automat. There weren’t any in Anaheim, and we never drove into LA just to eat. However, one of my favorite Doris Day movies had several scenes based in an automat. Anyone else know which one?

@Florchi, is “Everglades Live” the name of that purple flower bush?

I take it that’s a live picture from the glades.
    .
One question, never realy thought of this till I saw that seen. Have you ever seen the Gador Boys gone to one of thier shows at thier sanctuary?
    Just wondering.

@Ayre: No…“Everglades Live” is a link to a webcam out at edge of the Everglades.
@dkram. Yes…it’s a live picture (best viewed during daylight hours). No…I have never seen the Gator boys or their sanctuary, but I’ve seen plenty of gators in the wild (one while canoeing, which can be a little scary).
