    Phantom: How long is it going to take to some action? ZZZZ

    Mary Worth: How long will the taxi ride take? ZZZZZZZZZZ

    Mark Trail: Another great idea gone down the drain. To late to learn how to recharge the battery.

    MARY WORTH: As I wrote in AzCentral,: Does Mary have so much money at her disposal that she takes a taxi from the Airport instead of the Air Train and subway? I even omit the Air Train and often take the Q10 bus to the subway. My total expenditure is the cost of a subway ride ($2.50 or $1.25 for seniors). A taxi ride from JFK to Manhattan can cost a fortune.

    APT3G: Now Marty has it in for her father as well as LuAnn. Who will drive some sense into that girl?

    REX MORGAN: Too m,any plot threads and they’re proceeding too slowly.

    Phantom – Looks like P he is going to give instructions to the police and let them do the work. Will he also send them to Ted West’s apartment to stop the paid killers? They’d have to catch them in the act, which is pretty risky.
    Judge Parker – Does April know the hat is floating in the ocean? How will Randy react if he suspects April of committing murder?
    Mary Worth – Maybe Mary will decide to move to New York. I wish they would deal a little more with her past history, e.g. her grandchildren.

    @Arye Uygur

    MARY WORTH: Thanks for pointing out the realities of taking a taxi in NYC. IMHO, if Mary really cared about her relationship with Dr. Jeff, she would be experiencing mixed emotions right now and would be wistful about not accompanying him on his trip to Vietnam. However, in today’s strip Jeff is “out of sight and out of mind.”

    Judge Parker – She probably did go for a swim, though not willingly.
    @Marvee – Do you really believe April threw the woman overboard?
    Crankshaft – I know what Ed is talking about. Many is the time I searched and searched for my ball and finally found it hiding under a leaf!
    Mark Trail – The cell phone. How did we survive so long without them?

    No, but suspicion may fall on her.

    JUDGE PARKER: @ marvee & david – I don’t think April threw the woman overboard, but I think she (April) knows what happened. For all we know, only the hat went overboard and the woman is locked in a cabin on the ship (or something).

    Look on the bright side: We didn’t have to endure a week-long introspective plane ride.
