REX MORGAN: We will soon (I hope) find out about Milton’s tests.

MARY WORTH: Uh oh, it has started: Mary to the rescue.

PRINCE VALIANT: As usual, the artwork here is fantastic.

REX: I have heard that most heart attacks occur in the morning, during the last phase of sleep.
MARY: I hope we will get to enjoy some southwest scenery along with the drama.

MARK: There is no mention of the 2-legged species known as “lounge lizard.”
3-G: Peter is plans to drop in on a friend for “drinks and and smart conversation” (and more?). Why has it crossed my mind that the friend might be Zoey?

Foxtrot I don’t know enough about comic book heroes to appreciate today’s strip.
A3G* – @Florchi, I think Zoey is a little too old for the governor’s tastes. I wish I knew Zoey so I could quite wearing a buttoned up blouse and have a little ruffle around my neck.
Judge Parker – April’s background seems to be explained now. But why is someone following them?
Rex Morgan – Milton assesses his life work.
Phantom – The captain realizes he is surrounded by women with real guns but it looks like other people are near enough to notice the gunshot.

Phantom – the wives of the Phantom and Mandrake have urged them to relax and enjoy the cruise at the same time the “shore patrol” trio expose themselves. Florchi, you’ll remember that Budusky and Mule wore those same SP arm bands in “The Last Detail”

Phantom: Notice that P. and Mandrake are walking away from the action. I thought that they were to keep a eye on the captain? When will they notice something is wrong?
Mary Worth: I was wrong about the yoga instructor being Mary’s new project. I wonder what crisis this girl is trying to get over? Does everyone eat by themselves at this resort?
Rex Morgan: Looks like we are working up to a crisis with Milton. Everything is going too smoothly for someone who was having such symptoms in Rex’s office.

I don’t know who the purple haired girl is, but from left to right the boys are Batman, Wolverine, The Flash (classic version) and Incredible Hulk. Reed Richards is “Mr. Fantastic” and a founding member of the Fantastic Four whose power is the ability to stretch himself. Batman & Flash are DC comics heroes and the other three are Marvel heroes.

Mary Aside from the fact that she is sitting on a patio in what is probably 110 degrees, and plans a walk in the July sun, this strip actually seems to be progressing.
Prince Valiant: Excellent depiction of Tintagel today. (pronounced with a soft g, emphasis on the a) The ruins of a castle are on the promontory where it is depicted here, and the village is in that cleft where you see the docks. The land bridge to the promontory has eroded and you have to descend and reascend stairs to get out there now. I have sat on the edge of those cliffs looking out to sea. Wonderful rugged place on the Cornwall coast.
Baby Blues Really lousy winning attitude on the part of Hammie and his dad.
Funky Nice party. Family and friends and good food. Who can ask for more?
Dr. Phil paid a visit to Marvin today.

PRINCE VALIANT: Thanks for info re Tintagel; I didn’t know about this until I read your post. I was able to find some modern-day photos on Google Images. For example (you have to scroll down a bit, until you see the Camelot lyrics):
