FUNKY W: This appears to be a happy ending of the bio-Dad episode (for Darin & Jessica and those who really care about them).
MARK TRAIL: The post about Ben Franklin’s opinion of the bald eagle at was interesting, and was confirmed by googling some sites with the same information, e.g.
Franklin was clearly against the eagle and let everyone know it. Likewise, the artist John James Audubon agreed with this opinion of the bald, or white-headed, eagle.
JUDGE PARKER: When April says she thought she saw a familiar face, is she referring to the mysterious guy in the blue shirt (panel 3 yesterday and panel 1 today)?

MARY WORTH: A 4-bedroom condo is nice. I hope it has at least 2 bathrooms for more privacy and that it’s affordable.

REX MORGAN: Same old, same old.

PRINCE VALIANT: Valiant’s household is in turmoil and he has lost control of it.

Rex Morgan – Sarah is beginning to have some misgivings because she is realizing that she’s been had by that museum lady.
Phantom – Correct me if I’m wrong. But the girls in the last panel look like the girls from Apartment 3G.
Mark Trail – Very nice. And appropriate for the Holiday.
@Florchi, Theodore Roosevelt called the eagle a “dandified vulture” and said that the national emblem should be a bear. Nevertheless, I still like the eagle.
Flash Gordon – Flash Gordon to the rescue!

PHANTOM: Good catch – a brunette (Margo), a blonde (Lu Ann), and a redhead (Tommie).

I’ve read Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national bird/symbol

Teh, check out today’s Beardo for more about Franklin’s opinion.
If Prince Valient‘s wife and daughters would treat him like an intelligent, functioning human being, he wouldn’t be putting his foot in it so much.
MW I would think that four-bedroom condos are very rare.

Mary Worth: How many bedrooms does the growing family that is moving out require if four aren’t enough?
Phantom: How are they going to seize the ship and divert it to another island and unload the gold with nobody being the wiser?
Rex Morgan: Did Sarah just realize that she bit off more than she can chew and has doubts about being able to deliver the goods?

Rex Morgan – Yes, she may have writer’s block or painter’s block; now that she has to produce something, it’s not fun anymore. Or maybe the fact that it was so easy makes it seem worth less.
Mary Worth – Happy ending! (At least, I hope it’s an ending. Will they become recurring characters?)
    Funky – Happy ending?
Judge Parker – I wondered if the mysterious man/men who seem to be following them are after Randy and April, or Alan.
If April recognizes him, it’s probably she who is the object of their interest.

A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead was also the logo for a line of cosmetics in the olden days when I was young. I believe it was called Cashmere Bouquet.
