   APT3G: Margo’s been living in NY all this time and hasn’t been on top of the Empire State Building!? Perhaps Greg intends to propose to her there.

   MARY WORTH: The mother’s way of asking Mary for her name while Mary offers help is not particularly polite.

   REX MORGAN: The more things you have the more you want – if Sarah gets the plane she wants, she’ll still want other things.

   PHANTOM: Oh-oh…Boss Miner is going to wear P’s gun belt! He is doomed!! I am still wondering if the look at Hero a little while ago (2/11 strip) foreshadowed the horse’s involvement in P’s rescue.
   JUDGE PARKER: NGO=Non-Government Organization. I find it odd that the writer just used the initialization without explanation…was it mentioned previously? The term originated from the United Nations, and normally refers to organizations that are not a part of a government and are not conventional for-profit businesses.
   MARK TRAIL: Rusty isn’t in any position to be able run away from the bad guys this time…a cliff-hanger for the weekend…!!

   APT 3G: there is a small Statue of Liberty model near our house in a used car lot. My daughter likes to point it out when we drive past it. I’d like to get her a model or poster for her room. I’m in the hospital with her today. She hasn’t wanted to eat or drink for more than a week. Tests this morning and I’m hopeful for a diagnosis.

   Mark Trail: I’d like to have a van with horizontal rod holders
   Mary Worth: the sick neighbor story has been dropped or will it relate to these 2 new characters?

   Mary Worth – I feel sure these women will relate to Tom Harpman.
   A3G – Would margo accept a proposal?
   Judge Parker – Definitely sounds like “Doctors Witihout Borders” or patterned after that.
   Phantom – I’m guessing that the cage will be empty. Don’t know if we’ll find out how.

   I hope your daughter’s health improves soon. We used to drive by a small Statue of Liberty like you describe on the grounds of the City Hall. My grandaughter, under five at the time, would get very excited about it. I think the Boy Scouts put those up all over the countrry.

   Mary Worth: Pleasant old biddy, isn’t she. So Mary lives in apt.1a. Isn’t that the supers apt? I’t seems she’s all ways running things.

   Rex Morgan: Precocious child isn’t she. First she wanted her own cell phone, now it’s a plane. Is she selfish or just has a short attention span?

   Phantom: How is he going to handle this? Tune in next week, same time, same station.

   I did a search and found that the Boy Scouts did erect these models of the Statue of Liberty in the 1950s. There are more than 200 in 39 different states. The idea came from a Kansas City businessman and were manufactured in KC.
