   APT3G: Unlike “REX MORGAN,” who spends 6 months covering a single weekend, “APT3G” has fast-forwarded ahead a month without detailing how Evan was caught or what will happen to him. We can only assume that the apartments are being repaired and that Ari, LuAnne, Tommie and Greg are guests of Margo’s father.

   REX MORGAN: Nice to see that Rex and June are enjoying themselves for once, even if it’s before phoning Melissa.

   MARY WORTH: John!: You never had Mary, as you truthfully admit, but you did win a contest with a $10,000 prize plus 6 months in New York to study with a master chef, so snap out of it.

   MARK TRAIL: The 3 panels have a nice variation in the art work today. It’s about time for something to happen to move this story forward a notch.
   JUDGE PARKER: It will be an even bigger surprise if Neddy and her friend don’t show up.
   MARY WORTH/PHANTOM: Mary was wearing a black beanie and now the lioness looks like she’s wearing a black hood.

   Judge Parker – I hope they do show up and there’s a good explanation for all the money.
   A3G – I think the cartoonists will take the easy way out and have talking heads give us an explanation rather than showing us which would involve new characters (police officers). When they did the fire, the smoke was very unrealistic. Only one panel, of Ari having chest pains, showed some realism.
   Rex – Rex and June deserve some relaxation and fun, but something will probably happen at breakfast.

   Almost from the beginning, we have known that Evan was opportunistic, insincere, sly, underhanded, double-dealing, etc. What’s your definition of creepy?
