APT3G: Gabriela (Margo’s mother) used to have black hair – is her white hair just the work of her colorist?
REX MORGAN: So, now where getting into Honey’s proble.
MARY WORTH: Methinks that John is in love with Mary.

Mark Trail – I think we’ve all figured out by now what’s going on, but today is the first time that the dialog reveals that Rod is doing something illegal.
Rex Morgan – Honey tells June, “I wasn’t trying to …” She’s a liar. She certainly was “trying to …”
Judge Parker – April’s dad is a retired spy.

PHANTOM: The comment in panel 3 strikes me as ominous. Does the miner intend to prove P. is mortal (where are the guns?).
MARK TRAIL: I thought they were in the dining room of a rural lodge, but it looks like they are in a hotel in a city (panel 2. Wherever they are, this is still a fun story.

I like this story also though it has been very predictable (with your help ;) The vintage comic I follow, Rip Kirby, is an excellent detective strip that is more challenging to decipher crime motives and suspects

Mary will hope to convince John that he can succeed on his own.

Phantom: In the second panel, P’s right arm is in the air. how is that posible if he is unconscious? Maybe they will try to shoot him with his own guns but they are loaded with blanks? That would shake them up.
Mary Worth: How much longer is this good bye going to take?

Till the writers can think of a new plot, which could be a lo-o-o-ng time.

Rex – It’s hard to be snarky about someone when you learn about their problems. Sorry, Honey!
A3G – I don’t remember seeing Margo’s parents before, but they would have naturally aged some. My hair is gone completely white in the past ten years.
Mandrake – If he can be invisible, why does he have to pose as a painter?
Mark Trail – They have more than one “special spot” which would tend to deflect suspicion.

Phantom: That’s a great idea – guns shooting blanks. Would reinforce the immortality concept.

Try holding your arm out to the side and bend the elbow. You have to force your forearm back in order for it to lay flat. Phantom’s arm position is correct given how his shoulder and upper arm are placed.
