   APT3G: Amazingly the flames have not affected margo’s room or Margo herself. The firemen should have been there by now.

   REX MORGAN: At least Dolores is OK – she hasn’t shot herself – and the fact that she’s still wearing her wig says something.

   MARY WORTH: The contest seems nto be not just to produce the best cake but a race as well.

   APT 3-G: When did Margo change INTO her pajamas (see 1/20)? And when did Greg change OUT OF his pajamas (see 1/22 & 1/23)? Just wondering…?
   MARK TRAIL: I am mystified as to why Rod Bassy apparently objects to Mark photographing his van…other than it’s obvious something fishy is going on with Bassy & his partner, Catfish. A commenter at jsonline suggests that the van may contain SCUBA gear used by Catfish to surreptitiously attach prize-winning bass to Bassy’s fish hook. I guess that might work if Rod & Cat have a secret bass fish farm somewhere (they would have to get the bass someplace).

   Rex Morgan – Of course, it had to be Rex who found her.
   Mark Trail – It may be that Rod Bassy is just so paranoid that he doesn’t even want people to take pictures of his van. I’ve known people like that.

   JP – Yes, good questions. This elopement story may turn out to be very interesting.
   A3G – Florchi asks good questions re: the pajamas. As does Arye. We saw the strange colored smoke before Greg axed the door to the apartment; then it seemed to be coming only from Margo’s room. Now I believe Greg has carried Margo outside her room and the smoke is still confined to the room. Very unrealistic.
   Mark Trail – Someting in the van may give away how Rod Bassy is cheating. Being so defensive makes it more suspicious.
   Phantom – Goes for direct confrontation.

   Arye, if you’ve ever watched “The Next Great Baker”, you would know that it is a race, but a race against the clock. To create an elaborate decorated cake from scratch takes hours, even for the best professionals, and if they are not done when the time runs out, they are judged on what they completed and marked down for being incomplete. These amateurs will have their work cut out for them with a short time limit. (The contestants on NGB don’t have to actually bake the cake, so the time they have is spent solely on designing and decorating.)

   Mark Trail: Wouldn’t it be something if Rusty used Rod Bassy’s lure and caught a bigger fish than him. Boy, would that frost his ego.

   Mary Worth: How long is this contest going to last?

   Phantom: Boy, did the miner get caught short. What are they going to do with this lion now that P knows about it?
