FOXTROT: “Whoppers” (Burger King) translated as “Bolas” (balls)?? Andre? After Peter asks for two Whoppers, Paige responds with what she considers two extravagant untruths.
PHANTOM: Blam! Blam! Would P. kill the lioness, or is he just shooting to make noise so she’ll back off from Devil.
REX MORGAN: Is there an “entrance fee” for the Saturday night parties? Are they charging for the beer? Sounds like Junior may be operating an illegal nightclub.
MARK TRAIL: @marvee – You were right about the yacht; it appears that will be their base for the trip to the Keys (or Belize) – hey that rhymes, I’ll bet gg could write a poem! They will probably have a skiff on board the yacht that will be used for the bonefishing. I’m wondering…will we get to go along with Mark (to the Keys or Belize), or will we be staying in the woods with Cherry and Rusty?
MARY WORTH: Is that meant to be a pun (panel 2)? I’m going to give up on this strip if we don’t start a new story soon…zzzzzzzzz.

REX MORGAN: These ladies are so interested in using the building for partying but don’t they have jobs so they can pay their rent, or is that what Junior wants?
MARY WORTH: “Pontificating” is the right word and I agree with Florchi: I want a new episode.

Mark Trail – What happened to the color in Panel 2?

PHANTOM: the lioness is acting unnaturally which is a reason we kill animals in the US while assuming they may be rabid

Mark Trail – A sudden cloud passes by? We’ll probably be stuck with no color while Mark is gone.
Mary Worth – Agree with all comments above. Is it worth it?
Judge Parker – Whew! Avery’s sweating, from exertion and anxiety.

@Florchi
Wndrwrthg wrote more poems when Dick Tracy was bad than he does now. I’ll have to check out that date… before it’s too late.

Rex: I’m wondering if Junior is collecting the rent then blowing it all on these parties instead of sending it on to his aunt.

@andrelguera
The word “whopper” in English can also be used for a “lie.” A whopper is anything big, so a big lie is called a “whopper.”
