    I also love how the details of the furnishings in the house are so evocative of the period. The pleated skirt on the couch, for instance, and the painted-glass lamps.

    In the 60s there was to be an Emmy Lou TV series. An episode of Mr. Ed had a boy-crazy girl named Emmy Lou and would be a spin-off. It didn’t work, but Joanna Dix was the actress. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0649823/
