    Even with Twits telling everyone who won, these Olympics are the highest rated in a while. Our teams doing so well, Serena, Gabby and the fish people seem to have kept the interest alive. Some of the tennis commentators have made Costas look like a super pro.

    It always is. The best was when you could pay how many hundreds of dollars to see all the events without commercials on 3 different stations. That was a one-time deal back in the 80’s. Has anybody tried streaming it live over the computer?

    What are commercials?
    .
    We have this thing called a DVR, the races are run on a delay anyway, so if I watch them an hour later I’m like two hours with no commercials.
    .
    Meanwhile, the whole games are playing on the other NBC cable channels. It’s like they said, ’If you watched every thing you watched 73 hours of the first 24 hours of the Olympics!

    That’s because there aren’t that many events that Canadians medal in. Much easier to cover.

    The Russians won the women’s all around on Russian Tee Vee.
    .
    Michael Phelps is actually a fat balding stoner still and he came in 9th in three events where there were only 8 swimmers.
    .
    Usain Bolt isn’t even in these Olympics, he’s training for the Jamaican bob sled team!
    .
    Of course, Canada still lost in women’s soccer. But in Canada it was double overtime and it was England that beat them!
