Silly family antics and goofball humor, the Drabble family tickles readers' funny bones with outrageous antics. Kevin Fagan's lighthearted family strip chronicles the zany mishaps of his offbeat characters, especially goofball college student Norman Drabble and his donut-eating father Ralph. One of the best-loved families in the comics, the Drabble clan also includes smart younger brother Patrick, precocious little sister Penny, and June, the Drabble matriarch best known as "Honeybunch."
From Norm's relentless pursuit of his dream girl to Ralph's hilarious power struggles with Oogie the cat, Drabble is always full of witty, wacky and wonderful humor. The genuine love that keeps the Drabbles from driving each other crazy makes it one of the best family comic strips around, and the loony things they do make it one of the funniest.

Ralph can understand a laptop?

Our old Doxie (Puddles) always wants up when he sees my husband bring out his laptop. Of course we have him use his doggie steps rather than jump up as he has a bad back and is nearly 14. However Puddles ends up between my husband’s legs with the laptop resting on his bottom.

My four-legged daughter views the laptop as as a mortal enemy, and one that must be eradicated from the human and animal kingdom!
PS: I can never get any work done when the “Yorkie X-Dog” is on the prowl for evil predators.

OMG!!! this is my wiener dog, Heidi, perfect. EVERY time I sit down – with a lap top – she wants to sit right next to it. As I said in the past, Kevin has to have a dachshund as he has their personality down perfect!

I have a cat who wants to help whenever I use a computer, desktop or laptop, or even just the remote keyboard for the computer beside the television.

Blocking heat transfer with clothing bed linen,etc is BAD for the life of said laptop.
Heat is your enemy when useing a portable device.
Even setting it on a book is better,for heat transfer,allowing the air to circulate,with out blocking blower exhaust.
Pro-tip.*

@Ronald Davis
My cat also likes helping with the laptop and he’s come up with some brilliant key combinations. I still have no idea what he pressed, but a couple weeks ago he managed to disable the touchpad mouse and I had to plug in an external mouse to reactivate it.

How nice when animals want to be close to you.

I am so glad I have a dog that is too big to sit on my lap, a real dog, if you will. Icky Mudd has the right idea, the 4 legged friends don’t necessarily want to be closer to us, they just want the heat of the device we are using. If we prefer to think it is for love of humans than for basic comfort, so much the better for them.

If either of us is at our desktop, Angel likes to be on their lap. Until the other makes a food sound. Then back in the lap. Then to investigate another food sound. Then back in the lap …
