    we’ve got a mockingbird that yips like a puppy, for about 20 minutes at a time every half hour or so, beginning at 5 am.

    Thanks, Dry…I had a horrid earworm all day about this. Here’s more: This track is incorrectly attributed to Van Morrison. The track was released by King Harvest in 1972 as a single, and then in 1973 on their album “Dancing in the Moonlight.” Toploader also covered the song on their 2000 album “Onka’s Big Moka.”
    Can’t remember being that young, but boy did we dance to this tune!

    Oh yes, I know that was King Harvest. That song has been one of my favorite, if not THE favorite “feel good happy song” of all time!
    I never tire of hearing it.
