    Then she would love the toys to chew on..I mean you have to use a bit of dog thinking…

    How did the dish towels get on the floor? Who gave them to her?
    My youngest Chihuahua hates to see us use a sponge. He growls and barks until we put it away.

    I didn’t know other people had that problem with their dogs. Ours always steal towels and destroy them.

    Just like some kids! Buy them a super-shiny, expensive toy, and they end up playing with the box :)

    Instead of a scratching post, I got one of my cats a cheap couch from a thrift store. Turned it on its side and set it up in a corner where it would be stable. He could climb and scratch on that to his heart’s content, and he left the rest of the furniture alone.

    Mine too, (sigh). She likes the arm covers on the recliners too.

    @Nancy

    With mine it’s the dish cloth. If I hang it anywhere except on the back of the stove, she manages to get it.

    I lived almost 2 decades with my lovely Umbrella cockatoo, and she always wanted mommy’s toys so I got her some of her own wooden spoons and other kitchen implements (as we spent a lot of my home time in the kitchen). All the smallish knives have chew marks on the handles tho’ and other small hand tools like screwdrivers too (she was even known to pick up a pair of pliers, but that was too heavy to run with.

    She liked to run around the counters with stuff. Here she was attacking some papers I’d been writing on.

    Sophie’s got a point here. If she keeps going for the dish towels, then give her a bunch of ex-dish towels you aren’t using any more and let her play with those.
