About $50 per hour. At the Outer Mongolia Call Center. And his name really is Mick. Sure. They’ll hold forever at those rates. Our geniuses are sure smart.

They should be proud of Timmy. As smart as he is and all that..
It should teach Burl not to leave the house, and Joy should have taken that call herself while Timmy tracked down Burl..

I hate getting tech support from another country I can’t understand what’s been said. Half the time is “Can you repeat that?” I wonder if it’s hard for them too.

Another rerun. Like old jokes, they’re just not as funny the second (and third) time. Julie…..where are you?

Oh, yeah, I absolutely agree. What galls me beyond breath is that when I’ve had to ask, ‘Can you repeat that, please?’ so many times that I’ve lost count I’ve heard ‘Peggy’ at the other end say in an offended voice, ‘I speak the perfect English!’ THE perfect English? Yep. I hear that time and time again. ‘I speak the perfect English!’ >sigh< Oh, and while on the subject, I’ll NEVER buy another Dell computer again because when I bought the extended warranty that included phone tech support I had to pay an extra $49 to be guaranteed that I could get someone in North America! Now THAT really singes my tail feathers!

Actually Timmy is Dale’s grandson. And Marlene is the one who’s watching a soap opera in the living room.

Wait until you have to call Dell with a problem, that will be an experience you will never forget.

Try Tracfone. GOT to be comparable. Most, if not all I’ve had contact with appeared to have failed “English as a Second Language” classes multiple times. They DO seem to have mastered the phrase, “Thank you so much” after every comment I make…..
