Yeah, like your life is so interesting. And the “reality” shows are so real. But Burl was raised with a sugar teat so he has difficulty discerning reality from illusion.

‘Reality’ shows, huh? Yeah right. Real. Uh-huh, sure. Really real. And INTERESTING, are they? >snort!<

With reality shows, you’re just sitting there, watching someone else living their life.

Reality shows do not universally deserve a bad rap, however. Yes, there are MANY horrendous reality shows. But, some reality shows ARE as entertaining and interesting to watch as other television fare. In my own limited viewing of television (perhaps averaging one hour a day), the reality shows I do enjoy and will watch if the timing is correct include “Survivor”, “Amazing Race”, “Top Chef”, “Project Runway”, and “Biggest Loser”. They are all entertaining to me.

With the “Find-it” there are four choices:
    1- Find-it with a Find-it,
    2- Find-it with no Find-it,
    3- no Find-it with no Find-it
    4- no Find-it with a Find-it.
    Looks like today is a number 3….! ! ! !
Susan Sunshine is real good at locating type 4.

I agree that some reality shows can be interesting especially for those of us who have TV on all day just to fill sound void.
I enjoy “Top Chef” & “Project Runway" and other similar shows that involve cooking, sewing, decorating (because they are things that I’ve always enjoyed- even though some are designed only for younger folks (if they throw in some sky-diving etc.) I know that other people enjoy the ones for singing and dancing and even the freakish ones of back hills hunting or child pageants (not my taste).

My youngest son (who I showed yesterday with his Eclectus parrots) likes “Duck Dynasty” and I’ll even admit to watching some of the “Real Housewives” (what else would inspire me to a facelift after all these years?).

Real action reality show. assembling a crossword puzzle and then the mystery of where is that last piece? Suspense and drama, who will be kicked off next when they cannot find a piece that fits in their turn. Who is the champion that finds the piece dropped on the floor and kicked under the sofa. These numbskulls couldn’t do a toddler shapes puzzle with handles on the pieces. TiVo so you don’t miss any action when you go to get another snack.

I just noticed, the picture on the TV, what’s with Burl’s hair? That must be an old picture before he was balding.

Uh, like, er…you’re describing a jigsaw puzzle. Crosswords have those little boxes you fit the letters into.

How embarrassing, a Crustwood idiocy moment. but now that I mentioned it, I suspect Verl and the group would like a show like that although that may be to much action. Thanks for bringing me to my senses, what was I thinking?

Is GOCOMICS a reality forum or is it scripted? Maybe some of the posters here are actors.

This SusanSunshine person sure is a busy bee. Reminds me of a Soup ‘n’ Shoeshine who used to post in the “Secret Culinary Delights of Master Cobblers” forum.

And who knows, but over on “Newspaper Bra Model Talk” there is a very active poster who uses the screen name: “DeXXX.”
