Julie Larson began writing The Dinette Set comic in 1990, then called Suburban Torture, offering a satire on middle class culture. The Dinette Set became syndicated in 1997. When asked where Julie gets all of her ideas, she admits there is only one way to write a daily comic: write about what you know. "I make no bones about who’s really talking in The Dinette Set," says Julie, who is writer, director and cast of The Dinette Set. "If we can’t make fun of ourselves, who will?"

The New York Times doesn’t have comics. They can drop dead.

Apparently all of Crustwood’s snow from earlier this week has melted and revealed the litter. And good-natured Jim is still speaking to the Pennys. Maybe he’s planning to report their littering so THEY will get a ticket … turn about being fair play!

Where did the keys come from?

Just the type of behavior we expect from the Pennys.

Coupla days ago during the mini-blizz, Bill lived across the street. Now he lives next door. He’s going the wrong way; he should be moving outta town!
The Pennys have a point but, as usual, have missed The Point.
I would be surprised if they took the NYT, after all, as Simpson has noted, they don’t have “the funnies” and the Pennys don’t have a bird.

They are mistaking the Mercedes emblem on the keychain with the Dodge emblem.

now there is a idea why not get rid of the camera for crashing lights and use them to catch litter bugs heck on my corner alone they can make a mint and will not add points.

Currently any garbage in my yard is blown there by the wind (and I pick it up even though it is obviously not mine – fast food wrappers, etc). My last house was on a corner and I got all kinds of stuff tossed from cars so I appreciate ronald’s idea.

Cap’n I’m going to get around to restoring that ‘57 DeSoto one of these days. Just be patient. And what’s wrong with my Confederate flag? As soon as Texas finishes its secession paperwork we will use it again. Not!
