    At my address, those “Resident” mailings should be addressed “Recycle Bin”, because that’s where they go … unopened and unread!

    Yes, mail is validating and empowering—even when most of it goes at once into the trash (where, mysteriously, it seems to take up twice as much space as when it arrived in the mailbox)….

    I open all the mail. I use as many of the business reply envelopes I can to help the USPS.

    All the “Resident” stuff gets put in the postage paid envelopes from the credit card solicitations I didn’t want, so that the envelop tops the weight limit. Then back in the box. Helps keep the Post Office solvent.
