“Oh Yeah! Well watch me crush this stapler! Ouch! I think I stapled my fingers together”

Is Secretary-Guy shrinking? Dilbert seems mountainous by comparison in panel 3. Can Secretary-Guy crush a paper clip? Does it matter?

It was later revealed that Scott suffers from “focal dystonia”, which distorts his drawing after long periods. He now uses a graphics tablet for his comics. It certainly didn’t affect the high quality content of his strip.

We had a middle-aged former lawyer as a substitute secretary for some months. Incredibly intelligent and well educated, but rather depressed.

Originally men were chosen as secretaries because they had the mistaken idea that women couldn’t handle working a type writer. (When such devices were invented, 1800’s, when the first came for commercial use it was decided only men could do it.)

If you unfold a paper clip it makes a great loop with which to remove ear wax. I like to do that during slow parts of meetings. Just don’t go in too far!
