Capitalism is the oppression of man by man.
Communism is the same thing … just reversed.

I’m sure Gorby was just kidding; he must have had some sense of humor. I can say this from the perspective of 2013: his missile “one” hasn’t hit yet.

The young and the old like communisim, during our “earning years” we are capitalists. Odd how this works…..

Yes, that’s the statement “Anyone under thirty who isn’t a socialist has no heart, anyone over thirty who is a socialist has no brain”

    re:no1scouse

I’ve never noticed that in real life. The people with compassion were normally for controlled capitalism (no monopolies plus regulation, sort of like it was 30 years ago) because it provided people with a way to better their own situations. The people who were selfish wanted Socialism because they could get something for nothing, act like bestial beasts, and hurt others, but still call it the “greater good.”
    .
People who start evil generally stay on that path, becoming worse over time. It’s a shock when you meet someone who you went to high school with that was just getting into evil and 25 years later, they are just a bundle of hatreds and rage, seething, looking for an excuse to explode. Brrrrr.

‘Anyone who doesn’t regret the passing of the Soviet Union has no heart. Anyone who wants it restored has no brains.’
