May I say, rest in peace Carmine Infantino. He was an artist that I always enjoyed…“the Flash”, “Adam Strange”, etc. He was an inspiring & exciting artist. A lot of my love of comics came from him.

The answer to the Jumble that Sam’s looking at is: TREASURE THEM.

I’d like to be a little more specific.I became an artist (not of any renown),encouraged by my Grandmother. But my inspirations were Mr. Infantino, Curt Swan, Jack Kirby, and (of course) Chester Gould. I do like & admire Joe Staton, but he wasn’t there in my childhood.

One of my favorites was Gil Kane.

Loved his work as well. You might say he was one of the artists I grew up with.
