    Oh, yeah, I know the likes of Leonard. My hubby’s nickname is old F.F. – for Frugal F***, (fart… or, you fill in the blanks.) It started one day when I called him cheap, and he protested indignantly, “I’m not cheap, I’m… frugal.”
    (Yeah, you are, you old frugal f***!)
    We get a lot of laughs out of it, and he wears the name with pride.

    Posted at Andy Capp.

    In the 50’s radio show ‘The Goon Show’, the B.B.C. was an achronim for ‘Big Brother Corporation’. The episode was called ‘Nineteen Eighty Five’ and was a parody on George Orwell’s ‘Nineteen Eighty Four’. Spike Milligan as Eccles regularly uttered the catchphrase;

    “It’s good to be alive,
    In nineteen eighty five!”
