11mil still out of work (not including the millions who’ve stopped trying)? And these guys want to ram illegal legalization through, bringing in millions more low-skilled, high-dependence ‘citizens’? Think things look bad now? Just wait til the Obama sheep in Congress get finished with ruining the economy and see what’s left of the country…and who will try to save it.

The bigger problem is how do we get these stupid, ignorant, and lazy unemployed to vote Republican.

This wonderful private sector of yours has done nothing but export jobs overseas and hide income in the Cayman islands for the last 20 years.
The private sector wouldn’t know how to create a job in America anymore, and they have no desire to do so.

If the government doesn’t create some jobs or crack down on the outsourcing, exporting and wealth-hording and hiding, there will be no more jobs. People will starve to death. Some have already…

GM is the number one auto company again, thanks to a government loan. Chrysler paid back, with interest, the first government loan they got under Iacocca, and are working their people again. Many towns around the country are dependent upon income, and jobs, that come in because they’re on the doorstep of National Parks. Despite right-wingnuts ignoring the facts, oil, gas, timber, livestock grazing, commercial fishermen, all represent “private sector” jobs largely to entirely dependent on government (as in yours and mine) resources.

It is truly tiring to hear total idiots like coraryan and other “righties” bitch about “government”, and follow the dittohead line to their deaths, in total ignorance of reality.

The House has passed Jobs Bills with only Jobs in the Bills and nothing but Jobs.

Harry Reid will not allow The Senate to read and vote on Jobs Bills passed by The House

^The House Republican bills, not one of them “jobs” bills, only eradicated regulations, not one job would be created, and many more lost, and the deaths from removing those regulations WOULD I guess have added some job for embalmers and morticians.

A real solution would be legistlation that would tie congressional and senatorial pay to the economy. They would only be able to get a raise when the economy goes up. While the rest of us have seen our average pay drop $5000 per year, they have been able to get their raises. Stop worshipping these fools people just because you like their party.

Unfortunately, no. They were for a short while after the tsunami shut down Toyota’s production. But Toyota is up and running again, and they took back the top spot last year.

    Forbes, 5/22/12

And oil production on public lands is DOWN, not up; It is production on private land that is up. (of course socialist like you tend to think that all land belongs to the government, anyway.) (I’m also sure you have no problem with the Federal Government owning 30% of all the land in the Country.)

It’s our bloated tax code that creates those wonderful opportunities to export jobs so the rich can get richer and the middle class to continue losing ground. Simplify the tax code and stop making it so advantageous to export jobs.
