   It was FDR who saved the rich from being roasted on a spit!
   .
   It was SSI that allowed the working man to venture out. It was the SEC that allowed for money to be more safely put into American companies, funding their expansion!
   .
   It was the FDIC that allowed banks to have money that they could lend out to finance the expansion of businesses and housing in this country.
   .
   This is what President Obama was refering to when he said that the safety net is what allows for the risk takers to create the industries of the future!
   .
   About time somebody (besides me) made that argument!
