    How liberals imagine how people with money talk.

    How people with money believe their minions think!
    But in the end the minions cant spend what they don’t have.
    So you have again proven the opposite with true conservo-crtic logic!

    Ima, you REALLY should do some checking up on the Walton family, and how they screw over their employees, contractors, and suppliers. A friend started to do a contract with them for computer maintenance. Their final terms would basically have had HIM paying for the privilege of working for THEM!

    There is one product I buy at Walmart when I get to the “big city”, for one reason, nobody else has it. I’d much rather pay a little more to my local folks for even bigger items, than give more profit to the Walton family for screwing over their “people”.(in China!)

    Do they pay below minumum wage? Are there bar codes on every item? Are the number of self check out lines increasing? Are the registers computerized so inventory is continuous accurate and re-stocking orders are practically automatic? It not Radio Shack or GNC… It is “where is the sale prices at” ?

    My uncle was a truck driver for Walmart and loved Mr. Sam, who made him rich with stock options.

    That must have been a long time ago. I remember when WalMart was a small family business. Mr. Sam was a gem of a guy. His sons, not so much. Bet they’ve cut out that " stock options for truck drivers" part.

    @ConserveGov

    Gladly. Trouble is, many small towns have made the Devils deal that provides WalMart with a local monopoly. Chases out the smaller businesses and leaves the behemoth that pays wages so low that the employees are dependent on public healthcare.

    Andersen Consulting did the same thing here in Germany. Gave an almighty uproar when it came to light. They argued their employees were so valuable to the company that they had to ensure their losses in case of an accident. Yeah, right…

    Please read all press releases by Walmart very carefully. They no longer use the word “employees”, the always call them “associates”. Something is afoot, probably forcing all workers to be “self employed”. In Germany such tactics are punishable with up to five years in prison. Just wanted to mention that…

    Should a person working at WalMart make more than minimum wage? I don’t think so. It’s a beginner’s job and the person should be planning their future to move on from WalMart. I would make minimum wage too if I had chosen not to learn something to make myself valuable to a company.
