   What a stupid cartoon. Obama has done more to secure the border than any president before him, more than doubling the border patrol, and deporting two million undocumented immigrants. How hard would it be for a conservative to draw a cartoon that reflects truth rather than Fox-land fantasy?

   ‘toon is pure B.S.. We also don’t need to turn our borders any further into the separation between East and West Germany. The “righites” are standing on the EAST side of that wall that we fought for decades, and they complained about. I would suggest "tear down that wall’ is a much more sane thing to do, and border control IS possible without the “jack booted right-wing totalitarian solution”.

   
   Illegal IS illegal, but some of those laws DO need revision, and we need to return to some of our past, sane, policies rather than go further toward total xenophobia.

   When La Migra grab mojados, they can deport them or just send them out of the US without a formal deportation.

   
   Clinton had the most Hispanics sent out of the US, but ordered that these action NOT be formal deportations.

   
   Bush, Jr. ordered long prison terms in private prisons for Hispanics without proper papers (except for those who had the good sense to pay baksheesh) and deported very few.

   
   President Obama ordered every Hispanic picked up without papers deported, plus a big chunk of the private prison population created by Bush, Jr.

   
   We all hope the Obama plan deported and is deporting) not just illegal immigrants, but also lots of Hispanic citizens who never got a driver’s license or passport. That won’t get rid of all of them, but it’s a good start.

   It’s sad that you guys worry so much about the Mexicans/South Americans who cross the border illegally to clean your houses and pick up food but you don’t think about the illegals that come by plane and use government money to go to college and then take the high paying jobs that you desperately want. Open your eyes people to the real illegal problem…

   The illegals left because of unemployment rising and illegals having a harder time getting jobs because more business’s were afraid of getting caught with illegals.

    I take issue with the Artist’s venomous inference that all “Illegals” are coming from Mexico or South of the continent, I fail to see any “Asian” or Colored" or even “Middle Eastern” peoples in the insulting portrayal of waves of border jumpers, DANA SUMMERS! take it back and next do some more research before posting stupidities in here!     More than doubling the border patrol, but issuing orders for them not to engage illegal aliens. Suing Arizona over the state’s sovereign rights to protect ITS borders. That doesn’t seem like an attempt to secure the borders. That seems like an attempt to weaken them.
    
    And it’s not just the illegal workers that are my concern. Trout, you should be more in favor of this. Locking down our borders prevents known terrorists and weapons from being shipped across the borders and into our country. The illegal firearms (full-auto uzis, AK’s, etc.) don’t get made and sold in the US. They are imported, and likely this is the source.
    
    Amnesty, or whatever BS contraption Congress is trying to cook up, without securing our borders is going to only encourage the illegal migration to our country. And it’s going to be a huge slap in the face for those who did come here legally.

    I don’t think the toon is “conservative”, I’m not sure what point he is trying to make. If it’s critical of Obama and his “path to citizenship” or the porous border that’s more the fault of the failing economies of countries south of us.
