Dana Summers is the creator of the comic strip Bound and Gagged. He also finds time to co-create a second strip, The Middletons, with fellow Orlando Sentinel cartoonist Ralph Dunagin. His third job is editorial cartoonist for The Orlando Sentinel. His editorial cartoons have been in syndication since 1985.

Watched Biden address the families of the fallen yesterday. It revealed the “real Joe”, and proved he’s far more competent, and human, than anyone the Republicans could hope to put forward in the world they “created”. I don’t see any need for the Democrats to change, to challenge either THEIR potential “second”, or primary.

Joe Biden, whatever his other faults, is honest, forthright (too forthright for modern politics!), and highly knowledgeable about foreign affairs — enough so that during the debates the other candidates would defer to him. Let’s not throw out the baby with the bathwater.
Besides, why on Earth would Hillary run? It would merely invite the brutal and mean-spirited abuse that she has gotten from the Right for years now. She’s doing great where she is. I should think that some of you righties would appreciate the fact that a WOMAN is negotiating with Arab nations — and facing them down.
Hillary should be put up for the Supreme Court next chance Obama gets. She’s better qualified than a number of the people on there now!
