    Comprendo perfectamente, pero no tengo interes ninguna in los deportes.

    Seriously, been a while since I WROTE anything at all in Spanish (to whom? my landscapers?) but I still like to read something well written every year (have yet to read all the books of Garcia Mendez). And I’m not interested in the Olympics or other sports.

    So I thought it was about a six week lead time. Are there exceptions. Occassionally I see a comic strip eg when someone dies that id dedicated to that person just a few days after they died. So how does that work?

    Absolutely! You switched from English to Spanish. Right?

    @ColoradoRon

    Sure. There are exceptions, but few. Newspapers want their Sundays even earlier, because they set up those sections ahead of time.
