I can be an intellectual snob, even though I’m not that smart.

Slob, did you say? Oh, SNOB. Yes, I freely admit to being a grammar freak. If you can’t speak your native language…

Yeah, I’m a snob, about snobs. What makes them better than me, huh?

I hope I’m not a snob. But I WILL keep my distance from someone who smells in a way I find disagreeable (even if it is a perfume or something they’re smoking).
    .
Some may even avoid ME because I eat raw garlic in my breakfast (even though I bathe daily and use few scents other than foods).

If I’m any kind of snob, it’s a food snob. I can’t stand fast food. I also prefer non processed foods and home cooked meals (preferably cooked by hubby). I get my meat (local farmers) from the meat market and when the local farm produce stands close, I drive a little farther to the GOOD grocery store. They have higher produce standards than some of the others. Oh and can I say farm fresh eggs kids. If you’ve never had them, you really don’t know what you’re missing.

My wife and I shop like you do. We will spend more for local foods and thankfully we live in an area with an abundance of choices.

We get a little bit of everything here in the Midwest too. The added bonus is the good feeling you get knowing you are supporting your community.

Homegrown tomatoes. The ones from my back yard are the best. And, local fruit from orchards. Peaches from the store are never very good.
