    @Tony Rubino

    OMG! Let me tell you about my dog! LOL

    Seriously, I got him from the Humane Society when he was 9 mos. old. He jumped against his bars when I walked down the corridor looking for a likely companion. He wanted my attention and he got it. I sprung him out of ‘jail’ 3 days later after they ‘fixed’ him, even though he thought he didn’t need fixing. He’s been my little buddy for the past 8 yrs. He’s loving, kooky, and loads of laughs. Don’t know what I’d do without that little Lhasapoo! I urge anyone to give a mutt a break and rescue them and give them a great home. You’ll get the best part!

    Now, Tony, want to ask my about my grandbaby? hahaha

    It took too much out of me when the last one died.
    I can’t go through that again.

    No. Always have had cats. They don’t like dogs, I don’t like dogs, works out just fine.

    No. Child’s asthmatic, so we don’t even consider it.

    A Dog’s Last Will & Testament

    Before humans die, they write their last will and testament, giving their home and all they have to those they leave behind. If, with my paws, I could do the same, this is what I’d ask…

    To a poor and lonely stray I’d give my happy home; my bowl and cozy bed, soft pillow and all my toys; the lap, which I loved so much; the hand that stroked my fur; and the sweet voice that spoke my name.

    I’d will to the sad, scared shelter dog the place I had in m human’s loving heart, of which there seemed no bounds.

    So, when I die, please do not say, “I will never have a pet again, for the loss and the pain is more than I can stand.”

    Instead, go find an unloved dog, one whose life has held no joy or hope, and give my place to him.

    This is the only thing I can give…

    The love I left behind.

    In the late 60s or early 70s, there was a comedy album named “SINA – The Society for Indecency to Naked Animals”, which was predicated on the whole “dogs should wear pants” concept. It was funnier than it sounds.

    Yup. Grew up with them but married a woman who never had pets. Took awhile to get one, but he’s about the best behaved dog you could ask for, so it’s been working well for the past six years. BTW, we weren’t looking for one, but a friend is a breeder and brought a new litter over to the house one day – while the others played outside he walked into the house and never left.

    Our two cats would not allow it. I love dogs, but I do not need the all that attention.
