   Never had a problem with the seat left up because I always look first. I just wish they could hit the bowl.

   I insist on the lid being down before it’s flushed as the flushing releases tons of molecules of water from the bowl that lands on everything in the bathroom. Yes, including toothbrushes!

    Get one of those fluffy toilet-seat covers. It adds enough “height” to the lid that it won’t stay up.

    Or, y’know, you could figure out that the seat is often up and learn to look before you sit. That’s what guys do.
