If she’s really concerned about prices, she’ll make her own out of stale bread. Easy peasy!

Its winter and with a high of 4, do you honestly expect something cold to top something warm and full of goodness?

Soup if it is one I cooked; restaurant soups are usually too salty. Eating out I prefer salad with blue cheese dressing on the side.

Soup—I’m allergic to vegetables except for corn and… well, that’s pretty much it. Not sure black-eyed peas are a vegetable. lol

Soup for me, about the only time I eat a salad is from a sald bar and it usually doesn’t contain a whole lot of vegetative matter

Or she could like, you know, make her OWN croutons and get an amazingly huge amount for about 50¢ and 20 minutes of time.

Oh, and soup. The only time I eat salad is when I can pick it from the garden so at least I know where it’s been.

Salad with pretty much all my meals. Soup (and sandwiches) on wet, cold, and /or sick days.
