I can sew a button, re-stitch a seam, simple repairs.

You bet, I’m an old sew and sew. BTW, Did he buy the wrong size pants or is he shrinking?

My occasional sewing efforts usually end up looking like the stitches that connected the Frankenstein monster’s neck to his torso. Functional, but not aesthetic.

Not to well! But in a pinch enough to close up a hole.

He should hem his own pants. Why “assume” sewing is the woman’s job?

Belly got bigger and pushed the pants down.

Yes. I was a home ec major in college for 2seconds before switching to computer engineering. I no longer have time to sew though. Now that pants styles are a little longer, I buy high heels instead of hemming the pants!

Of course I can. We had to take Home Economics, or we couldnt graduate from Jr. High even. I even made a lot of my own and my sons clothing and easy wear shirts for my husband back in our hippie days….lol….I dont do it anymore other than to make small repairs such as replacing a zipper, or buttons or small tears in my gardening shirts.

Yes, I can, but I don’t. My sewing machine has been sitting in my attic for oh, gee, how many years now? LOL! I do sew buttons back on though!

Yes. I need to get my sewing machine tuned up though.
