Luckily, Alice and Beni clarify some aspects of Petey’s Theory of Cinema that had not been addressed in the initial presentation….

That was my idea of a good scary movie too. I’m still not crazy about scary movies.

Liberace, in ’I’ll see you in my Dreams’, now that was a scary movie.

Actually, several times in my life I have laughed so hard that I nearly choked myself and my stomach hurt like crazy.
I guess I found what made me laugh so hysterically comical that I literally fell into a bout of hysterical laughter. It actually took a lot of effort to calm down, try to breath slowly and deeply and not to think in whatever it was that made me laugh.
    Disturbingly good times!

Personally I think Petey’s idea is definitely one worth exploring…
    …assuming I was into scary movies…

In 1975, a man in Britain died laughing at a skit on “The Goodies” comedy show. Eckythump!

Yes, another example of where too much of anything good or bad is dangerous for you and me.

I only like classic horror movies. Modern horror movies place too much emphasis on gore and sadism, whereas classic horror movies focus more on atmosphere and suspense.
