    I’ll bet this is at least partially an homage to an old Monty Python sketch about a pet shop that could surgically build you a modified pet if they didn’t have what you wanted in stock.

    The Moon is depicted properly!!! THANK YOU Mr. Thompson! Now, it’s not a big thing, because it’s a cartoon; but I canot remember another cartoon where the moon was drawn at the proper phase for the time of day.

    Okay, I’m an amateur astronomer, and I’m easily please. Deal with it. :)
