    Very cool, Thompson.
They’re as good as “Haiku Ewe.”
    Got to love this strip.

5-7-5, 2 through 6. Petey should have explained it to Alice better so she’d appreciate it more.

I agree, brilliant haiku work Mr. Thompson! But Alice’s arms in panel 3 are completely out of proportion, hehe.

You’ve never seen a kid push food away? Believe me – those arms are too short! My kids could have pushed the bowl off the other side of the table.

Man, I wish this strip was still running new material. When the old stuff just blows away the competition, I just wonder what new stuff would be dished up today . . . .

Best wishes to you, Mr. Thompson.

I broke the record at sitting at the table, because I would not eat boiled onions…snot in a bowl.

Personally, I’ve always liked haikus, and these are some good ones.

    Encore!
Oh, that’s right, no more new ones.
Very sad, but the reruns are still priceless.

Which is a rare compliment, indeed. I get fed up with reruns of other strips, but Cul de Sac always tickles my fancy. Alice is one of the most full-bodied characters in the comics.
