Richard Thompson's Cul de Sac, is a comic strip about the life of a pre-school girl named Alice Otterloop. It is a light-hearted comic strip centered around a four-year old girl and her suburban life experiences on a cul-de-sac with her friends Beni and Dill, older brother Petey and her classmates at Blisshaven Academy pre-school. Alice describes her father's car as a "Honda-Tonka Cuisinart" and talks to the class guinea pig, Mr. Danders. She has the typical older brother who plays jokes on her, and she contemplates ways to keep the scary clown from jumping out of the jack-in-the-box with friends.

I have to ask: what does Peter Otterloop, Sr. do for a living?

Art is temporary, like humanity. Embrace this.

That’s what a call a small car. It must be a Speck.

I’m guessing the old ‘ice cube in the toilet trick’ worked.
Second time it’s worked this month!

It worked here in the UK, too. Woke up to another whiteout this morning. Just be careful with those ice cubes Alice. You could become the destroyer of worlds . . .

That car looks barely big enough to hold Alice and Beni. Likely not a Fiat.

Don’t make fun of the Honda-Tonka Cuisinart, kids! It is not only foundational for (snow-) art but also a viable means of transportation for Peter! Hooray for small cars! [Sisyphos drives a MINI.]

@Astute Social Observer
What is it not likely a Fiat? Are they too small for that?

Not much more than a dusting of snow in Darkest Saskatchewan last night. Good thing, too: we’re hoping for a long spring and a slow melt to avoid flooding.

Don’t tell me you didn’t have room in the garage for that tinker toy.
