    Too overwhelming perhaps.

    Now they can go cut down a Christmas tree with – a herring!

    I like the way their minimalist display questions the whole concept of Christmas decorations. Only I suspect that wasn’t quite what they were trying for.

    I know what we’re reading now are re-runs, but they are making this my current favorite strip.

    I’m starting to think Cul de Sac is always current, no matter which round of reruns… I love these people! And Richard too!

    Environmentally responsible Christmas lights! They’re not wasting lots of electricity and throwing light pollution at the Space Station. A definite win.

    Not in these days and times, no one is safe.

    That’s sort of sad.

    I wouldn’t step out into the street, especially after dark! Too many cars speeding recklessly! Besides, a Minimalist Shrub demands close scrutiny for the sake of artistic integrity! Can I go in now?

    My mom has taken to driving the “long” way whenever we go somewhere because she likes to see our Christmas tree through our French doors.

    @Kaputnik

    You would probably have appreciated winter-solstice light festivals a lot more, at any time before electric lights became ubiquitous.
