Richard Thompson's Cul de Sac, is a comic strip about the life of a pre-school girl named Alice Otterloop. It is a light-hearted comic strip centered around a four-year old girl and her suburban life experiences on a cul-de-sac with her friends Beni and Dill, older brother Petey and her classmates at Blisshaven Academy pre-school. Alice describes her father's car as a "Honda-Tonka Cuisinart" and talks to the class guinea pig, Mr. Danders. She has the typical older brother who plays jokes on her, and she contemplates ways to keep the scary clown from jumping out of the jack-in-the-box with friends.

Dill is right, wise in the ways of toddlers.

I think we have “uh-oh” politicians.

Alice, Beni, are you dashing headlong from the threatened doom of the Uh-oh Baby?! Should you not confront and overcome that which you fear?

You are an inspiration. Your comments always satisfy. I follow some of the same strips with you, not all. But you are a real presence in this weird cyberworld and I appreciate that.

Nap time is the right time, but when is that?

Some of us have been “friends” of @margueritem since she had a different handle! And I’ve lost count of how many avatar images. :-)

Since the child is so small, its horrifying uh-oh parents must be somewhere near it. I wonder when we’ll meet them.

Roger that, Kaputnik.

This story line is so funny – I can just imagine kids blowing something like this all out of proportion. I love it!

I’m definately loving this arc Richard. I too have been stalked by scary toddlers before nap time.

Hey kids, T Lewis and Todd Clark have a new strip Mr. Gigi and the Squid. Check it out if you get the chance. It looks pretty good.

The children’s version of the guy with the paste board sign saying “The End is Near——Repent!” Kareem Abdule Jabbar played one in the Steven King TV miniseries “The Stand.”

If you are telling the truth on your bio, you say you are 11 years old. Are you even legally supposed to be here? Hmm?
