    I’m VERY glad my kitty doesn’t bring home contributions. I know that the cats are saying “I want to help provide for the family” but a mouse, lizard, squirrel, or bird doesn’t belong in the house.

    @TEMPLO S.U.D.

    It was exciting when my cat did stuff like that, he would plop it on the bed when I was trying to sleep, and he never did learn to kill it first!

    Paying tribute, aw! ;-)

    My cats are all indoors, safer that way.

    Our cat is also an indoor cat, but he still finds an occasional mouse. He leaves the head in the middle of the living room rug. Do you know mice don’t close their eyes when they die?

    There is questions about whether this is the cat gifting the owner with a present to show gratitude/love or perhaps the cat presenting the owner with a “kill” in order to show the owner the art of hunting.
