Down at the bird-table it’s survival of the fattest.
Crumb is an ever-hungry blackbird who’s always on the lookout for a free lunch. Ratty and Moggy the Third join him in the constant search for food. Along with an accident-prone gardener and his bird-friendly wife there’s never a dull moment.
The comic strip Crumb has been appearing as a daily strip for three years in New Zealand newspapers and on the Sherpa website.

No fruitcake this year, but I’ll make one next year to share with new son-in-law (he has requested and I like it). We have been enjoying some Pannetone, as well as healthy Kovala. I have some crumbs of the latter to share with birds at his house.
Happy, happy, happy!!!

Never had fruitcake, deathly allergic to walnuts, pecans, brazil nuts, etc.
I can eat almonds and peanuts, but neither is a tree nut. Almonds are related to the peach and peanuts are a legume.
