I am both shocked and disappointed at the cartoon “Cornered” in Dec. 28th Globe & Mail in the section that carries the obits. A picture of a palliative care facility with a sign that says “bed sores and breakfast”. Is that supposed to be funny? Is that suppose to make the reader laugh? That is both insensitive, unnecessary, very bad taste and not even remotely humorous. Shame on you! After you’ve gone through even one experience of visiting someone in palliative care, tell me how funny that is. So …. got any comics about cancer patients? Hilarious!
