How do you react when you're cornered? Talk your way out, prepare for battle or insist you're just fine and dandy? Mike Baldwin's "Cornered" characters reflect the full spectrum of these reactions - all the while doing their very best to be taken seriously. From dark to light to blindingly brilliant, the results delight, amuse or even confuse - but it's well worth the risk. No one's ever lost an eye reading "Cornered" (aside from one reader who got WAAAY too close - you know who you are). In the end it's discovering the inconvenient truth of being "Cornered" that sets you free.

I do wish there was a like/dislike function on gocomics. There are some very good ones on here this morning.

@Notsoastute
I personally don’t like that function as it is used in the Dilbert site, in the mashups or the blog comments. The most vulgar ones seem to get the most votes, and groups of people seem to always vote for each other no matter what. Anything negative about Obama gets many, automatically. That’s my opinion, unsolicited. These are nice sites, and most posters are polite to each other.

I just want a way to let myself and others know if we are entertaining. But I also see your reasoning and I didn’t really trhink about people “liking” themselves. Ah well, carry on everybody.
