   INGSOC and Battle: I don’t think so. Based on nearly every female cop I’ve ever seen, Bob’s not her type. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

    Friend of my wife is a cop in a local town. Her vanity tag reads PMSNGUN.

    After 9/11 went down, a local military installation turned to the band for guards at the gate (you could tell by the unit number on their reflective vests). They were all carrying M16s — but not a one was loaded. If you saw them from underneath or above, you could look right through the receiver and see daylight. Lotta help there, guys.
