Very sad day for Dems. Just the fact that a majority of the Dems at the convention were somehow offended that the word God appeared in their platform and wanted it removed tells a lot. Oh and that Tony Villar guy is a real clown. Los Angeles must be proud.
Article VI of that silly Constitution. Nice to know that all those people in the world, half the population in fact, that do not buy into “the God of Abraham” won’t be allowed to live in the United States if the right-wingers get their way. BOTH parties really need to read Article VI again, as they’ve “weaseled out”.
Grow up, America. This mythological BS is a thing of the past. We’ll never be truly liberated from tyranny until someone can run for national office without having to pretend that they believe in Jesus.
If ‘GOD’ were in the platform, every person who believes ‘GOD’ is a member of the null set, and all persons who have another name or sign for ‘GOD’ should be offended.
Sorry, it means you cannot use a belief or a religious tenet as a qualification for office. You CAN’T say, you must believe in “X” or you can’t hold office.
they are complaining that the god is not part of the platform? and, jerusalem wasn’t mentioned as capital of israel? when did fox news become zionists? they mention hitler, nazis, and fascism more than the history channel.

Still nursing your outrage at a non-existent God, Canuck? Methinks you doth protest too much-a-much.
How about Allah, Buddha, or Vishnu? Are they on your hit list? Not as disturbing?
