On an old X-Files episode, Mulder unrolled a droll genie from a rug and wished for peace on earth. Genie rolled her eyes at that one, and then Mulder was the only person on earth…..I think he used his second wish to undo the first….like the old fable. With his third wish he set her free from geniedom. She was a cool genie—this one reminded me of her.

The genie’s onto me: I always planned that if I were granted 3 wishes I would use the first wish to ask for 10 more.
