It’s not just the anti women platform. Remember that Willard’s foreign policy advisors are from the Bush administration and they haven’t invaded anywhere for ever so long.
Ryan proposes 4.7 trillion in tax cuts, mostly for the rich, over ten years, financed by 1 trillion in benefit cuts, mostly for the poor. His math has never worked, and will lead to deficit, sickness, poverty, and death. Oh, don’t believe the SCIENCE on this, believe what the man SAYS.
One of the best, for sure, but I love Toles as well. And Kallaugher, and Sargent. Those are my faves. Danzinger sometimes. And Oliphant. Gosh, I guess I like a lot of them. (Why did I not mention Asay and Ramirez? Must have just forgot them for a moment…)
Yes, like Matt’s art work. NO, do NOT like Mitt’s fartwork, or the toxic gasses coming off the RNC and current “GOP”, which actually is the largest collection of RINOs, ever. READ Eisenhower’s speech to the 1956 convention, and TRY to relate what he said to the current “party”. It’s not “apples to oranges” it’s “fruit to nuts”.
‘Aside from your empty declarations, what could possibly make you believe the Romney has the means and the will to do anything he says?’-
You have to remember that the Harleys of the world DON’T CARE what Willard will do or won’t do. They only hate Obama. -They don’t care that Willard is a documented tax cheat in addition to his refusal to release his returns. -They don’t care that he lied about where he lived and had to retroactively edit.-Willard says he retired from Bain retroactively and they ‘believe’ it.-You ask them what they like about Willard and the response you will get is: ’He’s not Obama.’-They have no idea what Willard will or won’t do and they DON’T WANT to know. They only want to hate Obama.
Harley is comically absurd, of course, and not worth commenting on. However, I’m noticing a new talking point from the echo-chamber in general . . . the “Obama-golfing-and-vacation” meme. Sounds like Hannity’s doing?Just to clarify, Obama has a long way to go catch Reagan on vacation time, and is even further behind the greatest presidential vacationer of all time – George W., with 977 days of vacation, representing 1/3 of his presidency.
I am an American, I’m proud of my country, even though on occasion, certain “parties” embarrass, me and it. First the convention refuses to announce votes for other than mitt, then came Walker, then Santorum. I’ve read the speeches from the 20’s and 30’s. I’ve read the books. I’ve read “between the lines” of what these radical “conservatives” are saying.
The response from this radical right isn’t “Yes?”, It is “Arbeit Macht Frei!”
Tomorrow’s speeches will include George W. Bush who started two unfunded, unwinnable wars, Dick Cheney who gave the orders, John McCain who lost big time because he chose Sarah Palin, who will be speaking…. not.
The Romney-Ryan ticket has accelerated the Republican war on women. Mitt Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan, if elected, will set back women’s health and women’s rights to the 1950s. Since Romney became the Republican Party’s heir apparent, he has been pushing to shut down Planned Parenthood as well as to make abortion illegal. Romney endorses the 2012 Republican Party platform, which contains a Human Life Amendment, which bans abortions without exceptions for rape and incest. Try as they may to distance themselves from U.S. Rep. Todd Akin’s statements regarding “legitimate rape,” Romney and Ryan, by supporting the Republican Party platform, are endorsing his radical views. Ryan cosponsored numerous anti-women bills, including legislation that would have narrowed the definition of rape to “forcible rape.” Ryan supports the passage of “personhood” legislation that would ban abortion in all circumstances, as well as outlaw common types of birth control and in vitro fertilization.
Many people issuing opinions on the abortion question, and these include all current lawmakers especially Congressman Todd Akin and our own Michigan GOP, have little to no knowledge of their topic: pregnant women. Each person is unique. We know that there are more than a hundred potential complications, of varying severity, associated with pregnancy — many not seen until pregnancy occurs. There are also complications that are not due to pregnancy as such, but would prove fatal to both mother and child in the event of one, such as Gaucher’s disease. What we should look for in lawmakers, then, who have little-to-no knowledge about these medical problems, ought to be their ability to acknowledge they don’t know and ensure that quality care is available to all women, keeping their ignorant ideas out of the pants of individuals they cannot address in the first person. Anyone who cannot do this should be voted out of office as soon as possible.

Funny, funny…yet hopelessly fake. Romney’s going to win in the electoral votes by a landslide, and you know it.
